Orders placed Saturday to Wednesday are baked this coming bake day. Only a limited number of orders are baked each week.
Send it straight to them
Tick Send it as a gift and three fields appear: who it's to, who it's from, and a message for the card that goes in the box. Their address goes in at checkout, so it lands on their doormat rather than yours. Birthdays and thank-yous are the obvious ones, but plenty go out for no better reason than someone having a rough week.
Add their email and we'll warn them it's coming, which beats a box sitting on a doorstep in the rain. You pick what that note says: that something's on its way and no more, that it's from you, or your card message sent early. Leave it blank and we say nothing at all.
Choosing a size
Boxes come in 9, 18 or 27, from £13 to £38. Roughly: the smallest is for one person, the middle for a household, and the largest for an office or a family that'll fight over them. Postage goes by weight, so a bigger box costs a little more to send. You'll see the figure before you pay.
Choosing what goes in
Every box starts as either a chocolate chip cookie or a plain one. Then you add a special chocolate that runs right through the batch: Kinder, Chocolate Orange, Galaxy or Magic Stars. Pick two and both go into the same dough, so every cookie gets a bit of each instead of half the box being one and half the other.
Buying for someone whose taste you don't know? Chocolate chip with a single special chocolate is the safe bet.
Timing, and why it matters here
Nothing's baked in advance and nothing sits in stock. Each week's orders go in the oven together on Thursday and out in Friday's post, tracked next-day. Order Saturday to Wednesday and you're in that week's bake. Thursday or Friday and you're in the next one.
So for a birthday, give yourself a clear week rather than ordering the night before. Only so many boxes are baked each week, and once the week's spoken for, that's that.

This matters more when the cookies aren't for you, because you're answering on someone else's behalf. Everything's made in one small home kitchen that handles gluten, milk, egg, soya and nuts, with no separate allergen-free area, so nothing can be guaranteed free from traces. Three of the four special chocolates carry manufacturer warnings for nuts.
